I Saw Eternity, Chapter 12The sign on the door did little to stem the public's curiosity for Eria Chendrik, brilliant scientist to some, basement-dwelling crackpot to others, and, to a few, a time-tweaking maniac. The fact that she and the child had disappeared in the confusion mesmerized the public even more. Some believed she had successfully escaped to a different time with the help of her time machine, while others believed she merely slipped away with help of the government. There were reported sightings of her all around the world, while others claimed to finding her corpse tossed in a sewer. As the years passed, Eria Chendrik became something of an urban legend I Saw Eternity, Chapter 12

I Saw Eternity, Chapter 11The footage was all over the airwaves. The entire scene, Eria's scowling face, the shunned reporter, the slammed door, and, most of all, the secret in the basement. The once quaint German neighborhood was now busier than ever. There were bored youths to the left, protesters to the right, skeptics in the back, and in the front a seemingly infinite fleet of media outlets.   
In the short amount of since the night before, suddenly it seemed that everyone had an opinion. Many praised the idea. Some sought to undo the wars and genocides, some instead wanted to save assassinated public figures, and of course there were those who entertain I Saw Eternity, Chapter 11
